Euthanasia

Guys,
our blog is dying... I have been thinking about euthanasia, but since there is an alternative treatment, I'll give it try... the treatment depends on you: you have to make comments so that our blog doesn't die! If I continue making these nice posts but there are no or very few comments, euthanasia will be the only solution...
Now, today's post is very easy to comment on: since we read a text about Nigeria, here is a song by Nigerian singer Sade, listen and tell us what you think about it! And don't forget to contribute to the modal verbs post right below this one!
Have fun!

I also love this blog!!!! Please don't let your teacher kill it!!!!
Let's all make good use of this communication channel and get to know other people who are also in 5A.

Hope to see you all soon...maybe on the last day of class... who knows??? Anything can happen...

Ronaldo, Euthanasia is ilegal in our country!! Don't do that, please!! Although I have not posted here so frequently, I ever try to make the e-folder exercises or see what's going on. As soon as I can, I'll listen the music and comment it.
Have a nice day.

That's it, Raquel! Let's save the blog! It's so well done that it's really a pity to see it underused.

Please encourage your friends to check it from time to time.

See you soon.

But I still don't have any comments on the song...

Dear ex-teacher

This song is not one of my favorites. But, due to your euthanasia idea, I was impressed by one sentence Sade says (sings): No place to be ending but somewhere to start.
Come on, don't be a cold heart man, keep the blog alive!

Best wishes,

Ludmilla

I believe this song summarizes how we are experiencing love nowadays. Many people prefer to be a "smooth operator" instead of being honest with their feelings and specially with their partners. Love is for sale, only for joy and pleasure. If you want to feel alive, we need a different love. It's important to be aware that this kind of relationship doesn't really fulfill your needs, therefore we should follow the advice that can be found in the song:
"No place for beginners or sensitive hearts
When sentiment is left to chance
No place to be ending but somewhere to start".
Thank you for the opportunitty to learn more about this song.

Great idea, Ronaldo! Music! Everybody loves music! And Sade was a nice choise! She is a wonderful singer and she's very beautiful too. But... I didn't know she was a Nigerian. By the way, "Smooth Operator" is a great song, and I think it was made for all the heartbreakers, specially for you boys.
Bye guys!
;)

Learning with the Italian guy, learning with radio announcers... pronunciation is a MUST!!!

This is the video of the Italian guy I told you about. Have fun and watch out you pronunciation!!!
